Well we made it!
We’re sitting here in the hospital waiting on Jada’s last eye appointment before coming home. We didn’t get much sleep last night, but Jada did great with her feeds and had two big poops (which required a tag team effort to clean up). Earlier in the day Jada passed her sleep study and car seat study, so we’re finally going home!
So for all you driving southbound on Mopac later today…watch out. If you see an SUV driving 25 mph in the right lane with its flashers on, it’s probably us.

You have a battalion of people at the ready if you need any help! All that’s required is a quick shout-out here on this blog and we will come to your aid. Clearly there are more powerful forces at work that have brought you to this point but it never hurts to have back-up. Bless you all and enjoy your angel!
Y’all are going to do great! This is so exciting! I know Jada is going to love to be at home and be held by only you two 24/7! I’m so glad y’all are going home, I really feel like she will thrive beyond your wildest dreams (not that she hasn’t already!). I continue to pray for calmness and confidence in you as well as strength and wellness for Jada. You made it! This is going to be The BEST Thanksgiving EVER!

Awesome news! You flash the lights, honk the horn and praise God all the way home to Dripping Springs. I will continue to pray for Jada’s health, your calmness and discernment as you take the reins from the NICU nurses. Remember you have a huge team of friends that are willing to help you when needed. Most of all I know you know that God has you wrapped in His love and care.
